WESTERN REVISING PROGRAMMATIC AGREEMENT FOR ARIZONA MAINTENANCE
LAKEWOOD, Colo.—To continue delivering reliable electricity to towns and businesses throughout Arizona, Western must conduct maintenance on the bulk electric transmission system, including lines, structures and facilities Western owns in Arizona.
Western is revising its Programmatic Agreement (PA) for Routine Maintenance in Arizona, signed in 1996, so it is current with National Historic Preservation Act regulations. The revised PA will also more clearly outline the process for identifying historic properties and avoiding or minimizing harm to them.
